Care Groups

Jesus speaks of offering “a cup of cold water” (Matthew 10:42) in his name as a way of being his disciple. We offer many ways to stop by the well & receive that water.

Davidson Care Ministers (DCMs) are trained and experienced laypersons with spiritual gifts to offer Christ-centered support and assist with Congregational Care at DUMC. Our DCMs offer care in various ways:

-one-on-one ministry care with those experiencing grief, illness, or other life difficulties

-visiting those in hospitals, homes and facilities

-serving Holy Communion to those who are homebound

If you believe that you or someone you know may benefit from Davidson Care Ministry, please contact Rev. Jim Humphries for more information.
